Watching Project X on tv right now.
If you have teenage kids, you should watch this. It will give you nightmares, but you still need to watch it.

That’s a guilty pleasure movie for me.

To answer the question, last movie was It’s A Wonderful Life, because Christmas Eve tradition and what not.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy Might be one of the best casts doing excellent work. A solid, if slow, spy movie.

    Just finished The Irishman.
    Very very very well done.
Pesci, Bobby, Al and Co. absolutely knocked it into the upper deck.

Same here, Cosmo. Regarding It's A Wonderful Life, anyway. Never heard of Project X.

I freely admit a need to get out more. However, don't know if I want to do it LOL.

I hate It's a Wonderful Life with the heat of a thousand suns.

We streamed Christmas movies at Casa Madison based on who was there. The Momster and I cackled through Christmas Vacation and The Ref. My non-Disney+subscribing friend, the person who personifies Philadelphia sports fandom to me, wanted to watch... The Madalorian? No. Captain Marvel (and Goose!)? No.

    We watched Noelle.

It's not deathless cinema, but it is a fun couple of hours. It was made (or saved?) by the cast. Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader are charming and funny. The supporting cast includes Shirley McClain, Julie Haggerty, and Billy Eichner as a techhead elf. It's a sweet wisp of a holiday movie.

I have not seen E.T. all the way through. Yeah, yeah, mall cineplex nerds of a certain age are supposed to love it...
The Spielberg connection reminds me of another non-traditional holiday movie:

I just realized the Gremlin snarled "Treyf!" after he threw the fruit over the desk. I thought apples were kosher.

Knives Out was awesome. Funny, engaging mystery. Great cast.

I finally watched X-Men: Dark Phoenix. It was worth the Redbox rental, but I'm glad I didn't bother with the theater. It's better than The Last Stand, but not by much. That is twice Fox tried to tell that particular story and they botched it both times. I wonder if they will ever give it a run in the MCU. It is time to start fresh.
