Went to see Wolverine yesterday at the dollar theatre. It was worth the price of admission. Had I gone to a full-priced theatre to see it, I would not say as much. It was OK.

Can't wait to see Public Enemies. Might go tomorrow.

Let me be the latest to throw dung atop "He's Just Not That Into You." Ugh. Only palatable part of the movie was the Affleck-Aniston pieces. Thank God I only did a $1 rental on it.

In my quest to watch some of the "classics" that I haven't seen yet, I watched Unforgiven tonight. It was very good, but, and I'm sorry if this is blasphemy, but I prefer the remake of 3:10 to Yuma. They both had great character development, but the action in 3:10 to Yuma moved better whereas Unforgiven dragged at some points.

Watched "Knowing". Wasn't the worst flick I've ever seen, though the ending left me feeling like I did at the end of Contact. Namely: "Eh, they couldn't do better"?

Behrendt's not gay, but he's a shell of the comedian he was eight years ago ... and even then he was just an enjoyable stand-up act.

  8. THat is my next Netflix movie. I'm expecting it today or tomorrow.

  9. Watched "American Swing" this weekend, a look at the Larry Levinson and Plato's Retreat, the swinger's club in NYC during the late 1970s and early 80s.
    It was ok.
    Levinson was an intersting character.

I saw this when it originally aired and really enjoyed it.

For Brit-flick fans, I suggest "History Boys." Got the DVD at Christmas, finally watched it last night. Very good stuff.

American Swing really disturbed me. I felt like I needed a course of penicillin after watching it.
