Loved Welcome to the Dollhouse. Have Happiness in my queue. But Palindromes was enough to turn me off the whole thing.

After Real World: Brooklyn, it's going to be 'Iron Man'. Fun movie.

I just got back from "The Reader," a Holocaust memoir of sorts starring Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes. My companion, who had read the book, repeatedly insisted the film is about German guilt, not the Holocaust. I still haven't figured out how there can be one without the other.

There are people in this world, even in this country, I hope you never have the misfortune of meeting.

The Wrestler. Saw it in the movie theatre in Toronto on New Year's Eve day.

Just watched Reservoir Dogs. Just as fucked up as it's always been.

"The Visitor" and I really enjoyed it. It stars Richard Jenkins (the dad from "Six Feet Under"). Entertainment Weekly mentioned him as a long-shot for an Oscar nod for this role.
