U.S. Marshals is the only film on the list that uses American view counts, FWIW. Rest are from other countries.

U.S. Marshals is one of my guilty pleasures. I know it's not a great movie. I know the plot is a convoluted mess. And yet there's just enough fun there that it's a good cable TV watch whenever it comes on.

The best action start to a movie IMHO:

Went to the Downton Abbey movie last night. Could be the whitest thing I’ve ever done.

Has there been a character like Duckie since Duckie?

"Top Gun," in preparation for "Top Gun: Maverick," which has been getting rave reviews and which I can't wait to see in a few days.

I loved "Top Gun" when I first saw it in 1986, and I liked it again today. I hope Top Gun: Maverick lives up to the recent hype, much of which contends that it is actually better than its predecessor.

I'm right with you. I got my tickets for Sat night in IMAX. Could I be a bigger dad fan?

    Saw it....
I thought the aerial scenes were spectacular. The rest? A chore to sit through. It turns out nostalgia doesn't take me that far.

Gotta disagree, britwrit! Just saw it on Imax and loved it. Definitely think it's better than original. Awesome action, a story that actually has some stakes beyond who's the top gun at Top Gun, some fun callbacks to the original. I'm a Tom-movie fanboy though so also a bit biased.
