I almost gave up on the movie because it was so depressing watching Wall-E stack trash. I really felt sorry for him, it was pretty sad. Guess it hit close to home - have a crappy monotonous job and I"m lonely.

Not surprising . . . since it's the ONLY song out of Dolly that's worth a rat's ass.

I think people are a little creeped out at seeing Travolta in anything these days. Everyone just feels so bad for him that it's tough to watch him in anything.

Hello Dolly wasn't a bad song either.

Count me among those who hated Wall-E as well. Of course, I thought Up (other than the brilliant opening montage) was colossally overrated as well.

I really like Tilda Swinton, but that movie is terrible.

Appreciate that hosts of people liked it, but I hate Jerry Herman's
stuff like poison, and think the show remains broadly overrated.

Saw the Harry Potter film and liked it.

But I'm sure it will be like the other movies (and the books, for that matter) -- I enjoyed them, but never saw any reason to see (or read) them again.

    Defiance.

    Meh.

I liked the story. But the writing and direction was heavy-handed, and there are some philosophical implications of the film that bothered me.

Good acting though. I like Liev Schreibner (sp?) and Daniel Craig.

Terminator Salvation - Loud and dumb. The few amusing references to the old movies save it from becoming complete crap.

Saw "Moon", Sam Rockwell plays a guy stationed at the Moon monitoring equipment harvesting energy from the moons crust. That's about all I'll say about it without spoiling all of the good stuff in this movie. It's really interesting and one of the most human sci-fi movies I've ever seen.

    Directed by David Bowie's son.
