Yeah, while the concept of taking on separate identities is explored and sometimes played for dark humor, the movie might have wrapped up a bit too neatly (trying not to spoil it here).

And regarding the lead actress, Adria Arjona ... yes! I foresee the sale of airline pilot cosplay outfits, uh, taking off thanks to this movie! ;)

Ho lee fuk Hit Man is grade A garbage. Nothing. Ever. Happens. Until when it does it’s stupid and still boring.

Linklater movies are usually pretty low event, so I wasn’t expecting a lot of fireworks. I did think that the resolution in the third act would be a little less linear. It was a smooth and straight road to the conclusion.

You know what Linklater movie I really enjoyed a lot recently? Apollo 10-1/2. It had some subtle humor for those of us who grew up in the 1960s and 1970s, the animation recreating historic moments was very well done, and it had quite a few scenes for us NASA nerds.

“The Shallow Tale of a Writer Who Decided to Write About a Serial Killer” at Tribeca Film Festival tonight. Gotten some harsh reviews already but I liked it. Dark comedy, Buscemi is fantastic as always.

Tomorrow I'm seeing a new documentary on The Sopranos which looks fantastic. Last night they had its debut and then Chase was onstage with a ton of the actors but I wasn't able to make it to that.

The Sopranos doc is awesome. Coming to HBO eventually. Alex Gibney is the director and does typical fantastic work with it.
