    Went and saw The Bikeriders.

Not bad - low event plot wise, kind of had a 70s movie vibe with the pacing (fitting as it covers 1965-73 or so). Couldn’t tell if the Chicago accents were great or terrible. Tom Hardy kind of does a Brando homage.

Hoping to see three movies this long weekend.

We saw it a few weeks ago — great movie which treated the audience like intelligent adults. And whoever game up with “My Pafology” as a title is a genius.

Kinds of Kindness. That’s some trippy shit.

It’s three shorts, loosely connected, with the cast playing different roles in each. Dafoe and Emma Stone are great, but Jesse Plemons is on another level. I’ll be thinking about this one all week.

Fancy Dance with Lily Gladstone tomorrow.

Horizon. Yeah I know the critics didn’t like it. I thought it was great. Theater was full, too.

Saw Fancy Dance in the theatre, I think it’s in Apple TV now.

Worth a watch, well done for a low budget and first time director. Gladstone is great, at times likeable and or sympathetic, other times not so much.

It’s not about dancing, but missing and murdered indigenous women.

box office wasn’t great — length is an issue I imagine. Three hours plus is a commitment

Liked it too! Saw complaints about the length and the numerous subplots but all of those stories for me made the time fly by. It was exactly what I wanted when I sat down, a Western filled with guns, brutishness, some gorgeous shots and human struggle. Excited for part 2.

Furiosa. Not as good as Fury Road, but still REALLY good.

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. Dropped last night (actually this morning) on Netflix.

Definitely much better than BHC3, although that's not a high bar.

Amusing note: Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays pretty much the same character he played in The Dark Knight Rises.

Anyone But You. Beautiful scenery and good looking cast with some decent acting talent. The writing was below par. Perfectly acceptable date night movie.

Beekeeper. Thought about going to see it in the theater. Caught it on Amazon. Would have been fine if I paid to see it in the theater. Statham was an ass-kicking machine.

    Godzilla Kong thing on Max.

    Whoa… did that suck.

Really makes me appreciate how good Kong Skull Island was.
