Who seemingly has had to answer at least one "Major Tom" question in every media interview he's done. It's understandable from the reporter's point of view, but he must get tired of it.

Bought (and watched) Watchman last night. Even though it got a lukewarm recepition nationwide (and on SJ), I freakin' love this movie. I bit long sure (especially with 25 minuted added to the DVD), but I must be drinking the Zack Snyder Kool-Aid.

The past two days, I've caught some awful movies on HBO, but still, I watch them. "Fool's Gold" and "Definitely, Maybe." Gag!

I don't endorse the buying of movies, but 'Watchmen' was very good. I really enjoyed it.

    Shopgirl. Loved it.

Two Days. Hated it. Still love Paul Rudd, but couldn't stand this damn movie.

Sex and Breakfast. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. It did, however, star the little china-doll, 16-year-old looking girl from this season of Entourage.

Bad Lieutenant. Pretty much as weird as I remember it being when I saw it 15 years ago. Why they're talking about doing a remake with Nic Cage I'll never know.

Okay, has anyone seen "The Hurt Locker"? It's only on at one art house theater here. I'm hoping it will be in full release soon.

In the Loop - Right up there with The Hangover for funniest of the year. Just brilliant. Anna Chlumsky (the girl from the sappy My Girl movies from long ago) is wonderful, but Peter Capaldi steals the show as the foul-mouthed Brit communications chief.

Just watched "Into The Wild" for the second time. That last scene with Hal Holbrook just wrecks me. He's so goddamn good.

Saw Nine Queens, an Argentinian film about two con men. I liked it, but since it was subtitled and it's the kind of movie where the rhythm of the dialogue is as important as the dialogue I felt I didn't get the full effect. A good clever movie. I'm also getting the American adaptation "Criminal" with John C. Reilly on Netflix.
