Your mention of Zendaya reminded me of Dune, which reminded me … Timothy Chalamet is going to star in a Bon Dylan biopic?!?! How did I not know that until seeing the ad recently?

EDIT: That would be “Bob Dylan.” Stupid typos!

Saw "Conclave" the other day. I'd heartily recommend it.

    Recent watches --

Longlegs -- totally absurd if you think about it, so don't

The Bikeriders -- decent, didn't think there was any chemistry between the main actors which would have elevated the movie

Clockers -- didn't know it was a Spike Lee joint, some excellent performances

After watching The Penguin on Max, I went back to watch The Batman from a couple of years ago. Though it was good, not great.

Robert Pattinson was fine. The take in this movie was more that Batman was the main character and Bruce Wayne was secondary. Very different from the Christian Bale take, which was really all Bruce Wayne, IMO. It was better than Ben Affleck (who I like), which was just Affleck in the bat suit.

My biggest complaint was one I have often. Sweet merciful crap, not everything has to be three hours long. There was a lot of waste in the flick. Would've been a lot better at 2:15 or so. Desperate need of an editor.

Oh, Jeffrey Wright was good, as always.

I think I saw Bon Dylan do a set at CoverBand Fest back in 93. Their medley of Livin’ on a Prayer While Blowin’ in the Wind was particularly memorable.

I really wish my town's theater would carry
.doesn't look like that will happen. Hopeful the indie place does a weekend screening of it sometime down the line.
