Land of the Lost with Will Ferrell.

One of the worst and dumbest movies ever made. Has to be. It was horrible.

I counter that with Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li

Though it was rented at RedBox for a buck, I've never felt more ripped off from a movie.

Just saw this today. Incredible. Not sure if it's been released countrywide or not. Holy crap is it funny. Capaldi is awesome, I could even see an Oscar nomination, but every role is just perfect. Profane, biting, highly entertaining.

    Here's a short clip.

Watched True Lies tonight. Amazing how well those special effects hold up.

    Still, it's a shit movie.

Yeah, I said it. Shit movie. The plot is ridiculous, the acting is terrible and the level of disbelief you have to have to enjoy this flick is astronomical.

That being said, for mindless entertainment it's not a bad way to kill a couple of hours. Oh, and my god did Jaime Lee Curtis have a smoking body in that movie. Jesus Christ.

Watched "A Night at the Opera" on Turner Classic Movies last night. The Marx Brothers rule.

Chico: Hey, wait, wait. What does this say here, this thing here?
Groucho: It's all right. That's, that's in every contract. That's, that's what they call a sanity clause.
Chico: Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! You can't fool me. There ain't no Sanity Clause!

"The Paper" ... one of my favorite movies, and one that I watch any time I need to remind myself why I hang around in this business... A great reminder of what our business should be about.

Worth the price of admission for the pressroom fight between Michael Keaton and Glenn Close alone.

I had forgotten all about Anna. She's grown up nicely! When I was much younger, I guess 11 or so, I went to an advanced showing of "My Girl 2" and she made an appearance. Real nice and adorable, though I had completely forgotten she had existed since.

I saw "The Hurt Locker" tonight. Since it was shot with a handheld, I started feeling sick about 20 minutes in. I took my glasses off and watched the rest that way. I felt less sick, but couldn't get into it as much as I would have liked, because I couldn't see the screen that well. Still, it was very intense and I liked it. I just wish I didn't feel like I was going to throw up now.
