Well then, maybe you shouldn't watch that movie at all. Unless you like seeing Marisa Tomei all kinds of naked. In which case, you should watch the first half hour.

    A wholly-unsatisfying cinematic experience.

I like PSH, so I'm optimistic.

And I've already seen more of Tomei's nipples than I needed to.

    OK, peeve:

I hate badly edited movies. Like scenes where from behind the girl's hair is over her left shoulder, but from the front it's on both sides. So in the opening scene of Devil...

    SPOILER ALERT...

the mom goes into the store, and the paper windowshade is pulled down. When the guy comes in after her, he pulls it down further. Now, on the revisitation, when we see it from Ethan Hawke's perspective, the guy walks in and the windowshade's up, which it wasn't even at that point. Then, when he's blown back out the door, he's wrapped up in it like it had been down.

Bugs the everloving shit out of me.

You can find that type of stuff in a ton of movies. It happens a lot when a scene is shot over multiple days. That's what the continuity director is for, but they can't always keep things perfectly the same.

Apparently I'm even more screwed up than I thought. Not only did it not make me suicidal, it made me feel a hell of a lot better about myself.

    Two thumbs up!

PSH does terrific work, but BTDKYD is a steaming pile of depression.
