Watched 'Let the Right One In' last night. Very good.
    Thanks for the recommendation.

    Lars and the Real Girl.

Don't know what took me so long to see this. I was skeptical at first, but the movie pulled me in. I was damn near weepy at one point. The really liked the performance of the guy who played Lars brother. Watch it. It's worth it.

Just finished "Tropic Thunder" for the first time. It was pretty good.

Pretty good? Funniest movie in about a decade...

Looks like a good cast, and I"m a huge Oswalt fan. But I can't find the release date. Got any idea when it comes out?

A few weeks I think... I think before football season starts.

I'll be very curious how wide of a release it gets.

I saw 'Tropic Thunder' last month. I thought it was terrible.

Saw "TransSiberian" last night. Woody Harrelson, Emily Mortimer, Ben Kingsley and a bunch of heroin on a train in Russia.

Not bad. Not great, but not bad.

Saw that not long ago. I had the same reaction. Decent. Not great. Not awful.

Not even close. It was a pretty good movie that was funny in parts, hilarious in others, but generally dragged and ran too long.

The mrs. and I got to enjoy "500 Days of Summer" this weekend. That Gordon-Leavitt is one good actor. There was a nice scene with a split screen where on one side you see his "expectation/dream" play out against the "reality" on the other side of the screen. Not a love story/chick flick. Actually a 21st Century version of "you're whipped!"

Also rented "Two Lovers" with Joaquin Phoenix and Gwynth. That's the 21st Century version of "Last American Virgin". Sorry but from a guy's POV, Phoenix's character lost his man card.
