Watched "I Love You, Man" and "The Last House on the Left" last night. "I Love You, Man" was pretty good. I wouldn't watch it again, but it had its funny moments.

"The Last House on the Left" was pretty good. I didn't expect anything less out of Wes Craven.

"Zombie Lake," which was described by the Web site "1,000 misspent hours" as: A heartwarming tale of a little girl’s unexpected reunion with her long-missing, blood-drinking, aquatic Nazi zombie father.

    Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah.

Is it just a slow time for video releases or what? Don't know if I've walked away from a Redbox with a movie in three months - just dregs out there.
I've been working my way through Oz via Netflix. I knew it was good, but how great is something that amounts to a bizzaro world Law and Order/The Wire/Lost?

FWIW, next week sees the release of Season Five of House and Season One of Lie To Me on DVD. That will tide me over for the foreseeable future. And September had no shortage of good TV. CSI, Fringe, Grey's Anatomy, HIMYM, Two and a half men, Rescue Me and 30 rock all release their newest seasons. Good times.

Excellent movie. I love Mary Louise Parker as well. And Jena was absolutely great in Stepmom — a movie that makes me cry every time, no matter what. Such a great story.

I finally saw "Funny People" which I thought was really good, but I didn't go into it expecting a true comedy, which helped.

Sandler was very good playing an asshole version of himself.

Saw Post Grad last night. If you ever wanted to see a movie where Matt Saracen pined for Rory Gilmore, this is it. It was enjoyable -- Michael Keaton was pretty good -- but pretty forgettable film.

I was thinking about seeing this and that seems to be the consensus from the reviews. It's light fare that's enjoyable but nothing special.

What a great flick... and Miss Malone was tremendous in it.
