Law-Abiding Citizen - Pretty good. Falls into the guilty pleasure category, but I get bored pretty easily during movies and I was never bored during this one.

I felt pretty stupid this morning. Last night I stayed up late and watched "Seven Pounds." I thought I was watching it pretty closely, but when it ended, I couldn't figure out several things. I didn't know if I just missed certain references or they were just too obscure and went over my head.
-- I figured out near the middle of the movie that he was gonna kill himself so Rosario Dawson could have his heart, but I don't remember any sort of tests he took to confirm compatibility.
-- I had no idea what role Barry Pepper had. Just that he was an old friend and supposed to do something.
-- I didn't know what Will did for the hockey coach.
-- At the end, I wasn't sure if Woody Harrelson could see again. I guessed he could, but I was not aware that any kind of eye transplants could occur to restore vision.
This afternoon, I researched it and had all my questions answered.
Anyway, I thought the story was really good, but I just didn't know if it was a poorly presented movie, or I'm just lame.

It was a horrible movie. I would argue it's Will Smith's worst movie by a longshot.

I think it broke Smith's streak of seven or eight straight films over $100 million.

Watching Bruno right now. It's every bit as fucking bad as everyone said it was.

Think you're kind of lame. LOL. As a movie, no it's not the best. But it was one of those movies that you just watch and not analyze. Not everything was explained and you could read between the lines through most of it.

Yeah, I was surprised at how bad that was.

Just watched Adventureland. Very good film.

Outside of the first fifteen minutes of the movie which essentially made him, I don't see what the fuss is about. He's about as funny as double pnumonia.

Da Ali G Show was one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Borat was hilarious. I think the problem was he couldn't do an Ali G movie because the character is too well-known and they already did an Ali G movie, although granted, it was not even remotely close to being the same format as Bruno or Borat. I think Cohen is a tremendous talent, but I will be very curious what his next move is.

His act clearly relies 'WAY TOO MUCH on "goof", "screw you" humor, which
    is not widely appealing.

I always thought Ali G and Borat were more good-natured. Bruno seems less harmless.

completely agree on adventureland. Far, far surpassed my expectations. (they were pretty nonexistent)

Watched "Land of the Lost" a couple of days ago. Pretty much the same thing: Didn't expect much, was pleasantly surprised.

The night before, though, I watched "Assassination of a High School President."
Ugh. Waste of a buck-o-nine and a couple of hours.

I loved Ali G, but I've also watched it with people who sat there stone-faced. He's not going to be everybody's cup of tea.

We shut off Bruno after 20 minutes. Not because it was offensive or anything, but because it was dull as shit.
