The Great Buck Howard and The Soloist. Both were pretty good, probably liked Buck Howard better, John Malkovich was funny, as usual.

Flash of Genius. An underappreciated Greg Kinnear movie about the guy who invented multi-speed windshield wipers.
Also saw the Informant! An underappreciated Matt Damon movie about the guy who was batshit crazy and talked to the feds about it.

Saw "Frost/Nixon" the other night. Other than being a bit slow, it was good.

Okay, so I'm home sick and checked out "Land of the Lost" on PPV for $4.50. It wasn't that bad. Better than watching reruns on DirecTV.

Watched Wonderland - I was hoping for a cross between LA Confidential and Boogie Nights - but it was hard to care about any of the characters despite the great cast.

Was not too keen on that one. At all. Paid cinema prices for it (for me and a date... that's been a while) so that may have something to do with it.

Just got out of seeing 2012 and no, I didn't sneak into another flick </cross>.

Damn good movie. Actually, let me amend that. Damn good movie going experience.

The plot, as predicted, was ludicrous but it had its moments. Loved the first 20 minutes and wish to someday see a movie actually focus on the realization that the world is coming to an end and how humanity responds to the news.

Cusack, surprisingly, didn't bother me. I usually despise him.

Special effects were cool but definitely not believable. Sometimes less is more.

Would I see it again? Probably. Would I rank it as a great film? Eh, not really.

I watched Wall-E for the first time while I was home with my family. It was superb. I think I'll be hitting up the local Target for a copy.

Saw this last week and really enjoyed it. I'm struggling to remember any scene that was so cringeworthy. Mind giving a bit more of a hint or dropping me a PM?

I saw it for the first time a few days ago. Outstanding.

Just saw The Ugly Truth. Completely formulaic, which is to be expected, but enjoyable fluff. Plus, Gerard Butler is H-O-T.
