Seemed like it was four hours long.

    "Reefer Madness," on Rifftrax.
But then again, there's not much Mike Nelson can add to that film.

Whoa... Not for the faint of heart. And to the two bitches who were cutting up and chatting throughout the entire movie, thanks for ruining it! You deserved the go-to-hell stare I gave you and so much more.

Watched "Definitely Maybe" again today on HBO. I enjoyed watching it again.

This is pretty much how I felt about it also, and I really wanted to like it.

When it's not needlessly immature it's about the most self-celebratory movie I've ever seen, of achievements and human charities the filmmakers had zilch to do with. Terrible disappointment.

Watching the old "Lady in the Lake" on TCM. Weird direction -- the whole movie is set in "first-person" -- but Audrey Totter's a feisty one. She makes it fun to watch.

It's not my favorite Chandler, and the sustained first-person is frequently disconcerting, but ol' Bob Montgomery is a gamer, throughout.

After seeing the previews for Avatar, I can't help but think it will either be one of the best films of the year or one of the worst.

Once I heard it referred to as "CGI Fern Gully," I just couldn't take it seriously anymore.

I think 'Avatar' is going to be terrible.

Saw both "The Blind Side" and "A Christmas Carol" over the weekend. I liked The Blind Side very much. It was much better than I expected.

A Christmas Carol was much darker than I thought it would be. I would not recommend it for kids under 8, maybe even 10. It was the first movie I have seen with the new 3D technology (our little podunk area just got the digital projector) and I was very impressed with that. The 3D was really good. While it snowed in the film it really did appear to be snowing in the theater.

And I saw the trailer for "Alice in Wonderland". At the end, the Cheshire cat just floats there in front of your face.
