Zach and Miri Make a Porno. I thought I'd like it, but didn't.

Give it about six months and watch it again. It's got a good story but it is only so-so on the first viewing, especially if you had high expectations going in (like I did).

Loved Zach and Miri. Great music. The scene with the Pixies' "Hey" overlay is one of the best of the decade.

I saw the Slammin Salmon last week. It starred the guys from Super Troopers and Michael Clarke Duncan.

Finally watched the "Casino Royale" DVD a friend loaned me.

It's definitely in the top half of James Bond movies, with lots of good action scenes and considerable eye candy ...

    Me: Eva Green!!!

    Mrs. Coco: shirtless Daniel Craig

My daughter and I started watching "17 Again" on DVD last night. We didn't finish. It sucked that bad.

I just posted something on my facebook about shirtless Daniel Craig. Very yummie!

I finished Spike Lee's When the Levees Broke last night. What an idictment of government in this country -- at all levels, federal, state and local.

I loved When The Levees Broke, kind of hard to watch parts cause it is pretty sad, but a great documentary.

The Hangover - one of my son's Christmas gifts. We watched last night. Good, enjoyable. Not great - for some reason I expected much better.
    Doing Inglorious Basterds tomorrow

By this point, there's probably no way The Hangover can live up to the hype. I saw it in the theater and howled with laughter at times, but found myself by the end thinking "that's it?" Then came the closing credits photo montage, which saved the day.

I've still only seen it that one time, but I'm betting it will be one of those movies, like "The 40 Year Old Virgin," that gets better with repeated viewings.

The Hangover went into my top 10 movies ever list as soon as I saw it in the theater, and only climbed every time I've seen it since. In terms of classic comedies I can watch repeatedly and still laugh really hard, it's right there with Caddyshack and Airplane.

All us adults watched "The Hangover" last night. I thought it was pretty funny, but the last 30 minutes or so kind of fizzled for me. The photo montage at the end was pretty funny.

It's right there with the "Wedding Crashers" for me. Good...but should've and could've been great.
