My friend's nephew cowrote the screenplay. Really, really hoping he gets an Oscar nod for it.

Finally saw The Hangover. Thought it was very funny. Not the funniest movie I've ever seen, but good stuff. Taking my mom to go see The Road since we both read the book and want to see the movie. My wife wants to see Sherlock Holmes, which I don't, but I'll be a good husband and go, it might turn out to be better than I expect.

I'm not sure it was me, at least not recently. Though I also get the strange feeling that we talked about it at some point. Either way, you should check it out.

It got better toward the end. One classic line. Still a bit of a disappointment.

That's waiting in my mailbox from Netflix when I get home tomorrow. Can't wait to see it.

Not enough Bill Hader. Too much whiny Kristen Stewart. The soundtrack is really good though.

  9. Liked the soundtrack, but I am a S-U-C-K-E-R for 80s music.

Watched "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" on TMC.

Wish there were more Jefferson Smiths in DC right now!

JR and I saw "It's Complicated" this afternoon and loved it. Meryl Streep is the bomb!

I caught the last 45 minutes of That Thing You Do! on VH1 Classic (really, really underrated channel) last night in between being bored stupid by the Cowboys/Redskins and again being bored stupid by the Cowboys/Redskins. I forgot how much I like that movie. Liv Tyler's character came off a little cheesier than she used to seem, but still a good flick nonetheless.
