An Education - A huge waste of time. You'd think a film with a 30-something scam artist seducing a 17-year-old girl would have at least a pulse, but that's not even close to being the case. Also one of the most boring and pointless endings in recent memory.

Four Christmases - It had a few laughs in the beginning, but the film just bottomed out into a morality play about the only path to happiness in life is being married and having kids.

Saw Blindside with wife last week.
    Pretty good.
Am currently watching, over a series of days, Lawrence of Arabia. Great flick so far.

One of the best. I can't wait until this film gets proper HD release.

Watched The Truth About Charlie on Encore the other night. I'd never heard of it, but the promise of Thandie Newton is always worth pursuing. I was pleasantly surprised.

    District 9

    Loved the concept.

Hated, and I mean hated, the way they handled the lead actor. That twit just killed the movie for me.

Great concept that should have been done so much better.

    Wall-E is next.

    (500) Days of Summer.

Wow. I'm struggling to come up with anything to quibble about with this one. Great soundtrack. Gordon-Levitt is one of the great underrated actors out there. My Zooey Deschanel crush continues ... loved the card -- Roses are red, violets are blue, fuck you. whore.

I was at the video store earlier with the kids and a preview for this came on the store's TV system. It looked great, and I wanted to pick it up but there were no copies left. I'm glad now to hear that someone else enjoyed it - makes me want to see it even more now.

And I could fall in love with Zooey Deschanel soooooooo easily. *sigh* :D

I enjoyed District 9, mainly because I went in with no expectations.

    Wall-E is outstanding.

I did like it, but do you know how hard it is to keep your eyes open on a movie where there is no fing dialogue?
