Ya know, I would gladly watch a Waterworld sequel. Guilty pleasure for me.

Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore. Good movie, really takes you back to the 70s. The bratty little kid is hilarious.

I thought about seeing that, but considering I was next in line to buy the very last ticket to Gran Torino, I went ahead and got it.

I've heard great things about MBV: 3D from most of the horror movie sites so I'm looking forward to it. I also just found out that the original MBV was rereleased recently with cut footage restored to the movie. The cut footage is mostly "extra kill" footage that was forced to be cut from the movie after Lennon was killed and the censors started cracking down hard on violence, especially in horror flicks.

Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean with Paul Newman (okay, but kind of a messy movie, not very compelling) and Ride With The Devil. I enjoyed Ride With The Devil. It was directed by Ang Lee and is set in the Misssouri-Kansas border area during the Civil War. Toby McGuire plays a guy who joins up with the bushwackers with his best friend, but the heart of the movie is why people fight in wars. It was produced in 1999 and distribution was pretty much scuttled after controversy for the inclusion of a (historically true) freed slave who fought against the Union with his former master. And Jewel's in it.

"F-'n Bruges." The featurette on the DVD about how that movie came about is pretty funny as well.
