I'll recommend "Battle in Seattle" to everyone. It is an interesting set of stories all overlapping during the '99 WTO meetings. Very good stuff.

There is a reason why a movie with that many stars never made it into many theaters. It sucked.

Just watched Eagle Eye. Interesting concept, flawed execution.

I like Shia so I didn't mind him in the lead, but it seemed like a stretch to have a computer do all that and the ending was too much like Get Smart for me to let it slide.

Have you actually seen the film or are you just basing this off the fact that it did not get a theatre release? If you're holding that view simply because it didn't hit your local megaplex then you've missed some very good movies that went straight to DVD this past year. If you have seen it already than I'd like to know what you found wrong with the film.

Excellent movie and the hottest actress working. For fans of this film, I highly recommend adding "Water Drops on Burning Rocks" to your Netflix cue and thank me later. ;D

Got up last night to watch "Major Dundee" with Charlton Heston, Richard Harris, Jim Hutton and James Coburn. It was directed by Sam Peckinpah. Will be on TCM at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Getting ready to go see Valkyrie. I hope it isn't a Tom Cruise beat down.

Might be in my top 5 all-time. It was that good. The ending was just sensational.

Seriously, I'm right there with you. Here's my question, though: how come some people just absolutely hate it? I've recommended it to some friends/family members and a few have told me afterward that they just flat out hated it. Maybe we appreciate the writing more?

"Of course you can't see! I just a shot a blank in your f-ing eye!"

God I love this movie. I think I'm going to go watch it again.

Points to Netflix, today. Despite the postal holiday, they're at least processing returns, this Federal holiday.

    Gran Torino.

    Last week.

    Very good.

Not "Unforgiven," of course, but what is.

    Clint rules.
