Haven't seen it. Haven't read the book. But if the wikipedia entry is to believed you might wanna go to bed. Hard to say without spoiling it, though.

Saw Toy Story 3 last night, and it was awesome. Like all of Pixar's stuff, it works for kids and adults, and there's a whole layer of happy-sad that will go right over little kids' heads but made me cry like a baby at the end. Thankfully, they gave me five minutes of amusing end-credits vignettes to make up for it.

I saw it in 3D, and it was nice for the added depth, but I don't think it's necessary. The short before the film was also fantastic and likely much better in 3D, though.

Pixar is basically a sure thing these days, and this movie is no exception. Stupid Pixar, always making me cry.

I got cised for this movie when I saw the previews. Very disappointed after seeing the whole thing.

I had high hopes for this and was sorely disappointed.

Watched The Wolfman the other night. Wow, suckage ensued. Started off okay, but the ending was horrifying. Not in a good way. Have no idea why Emily Blunt was in that movie. Have no idea why Anthony Hopkins agreed to do that movie. Although, that's not new. Del Toro. Well. He's just fucking weird. Have no idea why this movie was ever made.

Watched it last night. Enjoyed it other than a few creepy parts.

    SPOILER

It doesn't turn into a musical, but there is some ray of hope at the end.

That's a fair assessment. I could take it or leave it, personally.

The Onion Field, DVRd off TCM. Still a strange case. Recommend it.

Watched Coalminer's Daughter last night with Mrs. Novelist. As her oscar attests, Sissy Spacek was outstanding. Not a big country music fan, but this was much more enjoyable than I anticipated.
