The hype's insane, and for a movie that depends on special effects to the extent Inception clearly does, that's an amber light.

We'll see if there's ANY substance behind all the clever effects.

Caught "Big Fan" on Showtime last night ... well, let's just say I know WAY TOO MANY people who are a lot like the characters in the movie, so it definitely rang true.

This summer is still desperately looking for the first really good non-animated film.

I mean, I enjoyed the Karate Kid, but I'm talking about just one movie where you walk out really thinking you saw something great. If there's a movie like that out right now, I sure as hell haven't seen it.

While it rang true, it definitely dragged way too long.

    "Cemetery Man"

Interesting. Not sure how to classify it. Just really odd.

I enjoyed "A-Team". I did, really, pretty darn funny for most of the thing. I didn't go in thinking it was ground-breaking or anything so it fulfilled my desires as something to do instead of watching the LeBronathon.

Not amazing to me. She isn't any good in The Blind Side, either.

Miller's Crossing. Appreciated it more this time, third or fourth I've seen it.

Saw Ricky Gervais' Invention of Lying. Kind of a cross between Groundhog Day and Oh God. Very funny and clever, surprisingly moving. The kind of movie I could see myself watching five or six times.

Copley stole the movie as Murdock.
