FWIW, Craig is listed on imdb for Blomqvist, and Mulligan is listed as rumored for Lisbeth.

Craig and Mulligan would be great choices. I don't have any problems with the other names being mentioned either. Pitt and Fincher have done some pretty good work together.

The interesting thing to me where Tattoo is concerned is how explicit the American version ends up being. The Swedish version really didn't pull any punches. I'm thinking the violent scenes will be somewhat less so for the American version.

I'm wondering if Noomi Rapace will get support to play the part in the English-speaking one.

    Realism in a comedy? C'mon.
And, this one gets bonus points from me alone for the scene in which Baruchel explains why he ran out on her parents: "Next thing I know, your parents are in the room and I'm sitting there with a friggin' oyster in my shorts!"
Had me rewinding to watch the friend's reaction again, laughing my ass off.

Started Frost/Nixon today and stopped 10 mins in, so I could start over tonight and get my wife involved.
Though we aren't finished, we are fascinated by this movie.
    Very well done.

    Just got back from Inception.

Exceptional. It's like The Matrix mashed with a bank heist film.

    Nolan is a genius.

I saw it last night. It was completely worth being tired at work today. I'm usually pretty nit-picky with films, but I couldn't find much of anything that I didn't really enjoy about this one; would have been the Best Picture last year, IMO.

    "The House of The Devil."

    YES

Moving on now to "The Burning."

I'm clearly in a great mood tonight.

Watched Pirate Radio last night (BTW, love the whole downloading movies concept; I use Amazon). It was good fun with Bitchin 60s soundtrack. Was this based on a true story?

    Loosely. Very loosely.
