I could never buy Portman, for the same reason I could never buy Page. Just not enough gravitas there.

Evan Rachel Wood might be a bit tall, but she could definitely pull it off. Of the alleged finalists, Rooney Mara is intriguing.

For the 20th+ time I just finished Almost Famous, a perfect movie.

There are great movies with flaws(Network), and flawed movies that are great(Heathers), but there are few perfect movies. Almost Famous is a perfect movie.

Am still trying to wash the stink of "Inception" off me. Over-rated!
The only positive was seeing the trailer for "Red" (October, with Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman). But hey, any movie in which Helen Mirren is firing an Uzi radiates 28 levels of awesome. Also looking forward to "Machete" and "The Social Network."

I keep meaning to rewatch it. Have you seen the director's cut (it came as part of a 2 disc set)? It's longer, but I think it's interesting.

Took the fam to see Ramona and Beezus Friday. Surprisingly solid. And I may go to hell for saying this about a G movie, but Aunt Beatrice is a stone hottie.

This movie is awesome. How they got away with having Chloe Grace Moretz spew obscenities is beyond me, but I loved the movie.

Fight settled: Rooney Mara got the role; yep, as in the NFL's Rooney and Mara families...

By "history of cinema" standards, yes.

By 1980-to-date standards, not so much.

Great movie, but it might be a little much for those under five. There are some scenes that could really scare kids.

And yes, my wife had the phone and Lil 93 plays with it today.
