Wife pulled out "Its Complicated" from Netflix. Streep and Baldwin are pretty funny but John Krasinski is hilarious.

Watched 'Away We Go' several weeks.
I wanted to like it but could not.
It was so saccharin, and the exposition of the couple was so self-consciously qwirky with an over-riding sense of some kind of wannabe nerd hipness.
I thought Maya Rudolph and the guy from the American version of 'The Office' were very likeable, but the movie was bad.

PS - Am I the only one who finds Maya Rudolph very attractive?

The Hangover is probably my favorite movie I've seen in 10 years. I take that back. DEFINITELY my favorite movie I've seen in 10 years.

I hated Lebowski with a passion I can't even express. And loved Nappy D.

Damn it IJAG, stop liking and hating the same movies as me. It's creepy.

I, too, thought Hangover was amazing but I also felt it lost a TON on rewatch. I've seen it twice and I don't think I'd have any interest in seeing it again and this is coming from a guy who could easily watch Anchorman 20 times over the course of a year.

Agree with Lebowski as well. I think if I had seen it before it became the big cult classic it is, I would have liked it more but I went in with high expectations and the movie just didn't do it for me.

Also, IJAG, I too saw I Hope They Serve Bell In Hell last week and thought it was awful. Loved the one-liners, thought the characters were interesting but the movie fell flat because 1.) No one in the flick could act to save their lives and 2.) The flick was written in a way that made me think this would be a classic if it had been rewritten and edited about three more times. Just seemed rushed is all.

Disagree on The Hangover's rewatchability. I've seen it probably 15 times. Laugh just as hard. Love every single minute of it.

  8. Finally got a chance to watch The Losers the other night. Fun and found it more entertaining than The A-Team.

    Theater: Inception. Godawful
At home: Young@Heart. The room will resound with laughter...and get dusty.
