    Clash of the Titans

Got it at the RedBox, and I did not get good value with the pick.

Watched Chloe last night. What a fucked up story line. And Amanda Seyfried is smokin'

Four Lions - British comedy about wanna-be jihadists and their wacky adventures. Until it gets deadly serious and becomes one of the most depressing films of the last 10 years.

OK, so I've professed my love for "Let The Right One In" here before. As Babar put it, "best Swedish pre-teen vampire movie ever!"

That said, I'm really worried about the American remake, "Let Me In," which opens next month. The charm of the original was in the innocent acting and the subtle cinematography. I just worry when American filmmakers get their hands on something like that and they have to make it BIG and LOUD and OVERLY DRAMATIC. Maybe I'll be surprised ...

I share your apprehension but the choice of actors is promising.

The wife and I watched Date Night. Wow, what a great movie.

Sure, the plot has holes big enough to drive and Audi carrying a taxi cab through but, if you're looking for an hour and a half of mindless entertainment and/or have a Tina Fey crush (Which I was guilty of both), it's a fantastic couples movie.

    Good stuff.

I absolutely loved 'Let the Right One In.'
I'm setting odds at 98 percent that the American version is not as good as the original and 75 percent that it flat out stinks.

Chloe - What a weak and terrible script. A shame too. It's beautifully shot.

I went to a screening tonight of "The Social Network," the movie about the creation of Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg is a douchebag.

I don't know that anyone who has even the slightest bit of knowledge about either A. how Facebook came to be; or B. what Facebook has turned into, needed a movie to tell them that Mark Zuckerberg is a douche. :)

Because I am a whore for all things Aaron Sorkin (and I just finished the book that partially inspired the movie last week) I am very much looking forward to this movie.

Severe Clear. Footage from First Lieutenant Mike Scotti's time in Iraq. Very good.

Just saw the preview, and have to admit it looked more ... right ... than I expected. I have no confidence it will be as good, but I'm open to the idea that it could be interesting to see a different take on it.
