It was all right, very pro forma and straight-forward, but it would've been better had I actually seen the deleted scenes instead of snippets of them.

    Drag Me To Hell

Much better than I thought it would be. Great twist at the end.

She'll be the new Juliette Lewis, and play the troubled white trash girl.

Saw this last night, and really enjoyed it. Meth is a HUGE problem in several places I've lived in the last 10 years, so I could relate to the story.

Saw 'Buried' today, a harrowing and heart-breaking film with Ryan Reynolds.

One of the best I've seen in years -- and this coming from a guy who sees A LOT of movies. If it's playing near you, go see it.

Try not to read too much about it before you go, but it's basically Reynolds in a coffin for 94 minutes with nothing but a lighter and a cell phone. Tremendous, tremendous stuff.

Watched 'The Sweet Hereafter' on demand last night.

First time I'd seen it. One of the best "sad" movies I've ever seen. Mature, serious, nuanced, sophisticated, adult exploration of grief.

It will stay with me for a long time. Just so fucking....sad.

Dr. Strangelove on TCM Tuesday night. Makes the "Will Never Get Old" list.

Daisy Diamond - Noomi Rapace's feature film before Dragon Tat. If she complained about how hard it was to portray Salander, I would like to know her opinion of this one. Since, you know, she's naked in roughly 50 percent of the 90 minute film. Makes everything in the Millennium series seem like child's play. I can't stress this enough. It's extremely hardcore.

As for Rapace's performance, it's masterful. Just dreadful subject matter though.

Watched "21 Grams" last night. It's not chronological, so it took me forever to figure out what was going on, but great performances by Sean Penn, Naomi Watts and Benicio del Toro.

Saw 'Megamind' last weekend. It's alright. Clever at some parts, maybe 7/10 overall.

Still wanna see 'Due Date' and 'Morning Glory.'
