    Winter's Bone.

Great film work. They did a great job of making the Ozark wilderness feel very bleak. And the young actress (Jennier Warner) was tremendous.

Secret in Their Eyes ('09 Best Foreign Film).

Very well done. Intriguing. Set in Argentina. Boy the Spaniards talk fast.

    Get Him To the Greek.

Jonah Hill sucks. Not funny, not interesting, and not worth watching. Easily the only part of the movie that wasn't funny.

    But Russell Brand is awesome.

I think the last time most of us saw the Napster guy was in the late 1990s when he appeared on the MTV Music Awards for that infamous staredown with Lars Ulrich. Who knows if he had grown out of his awkwardness in the 7-8 years between then and when Social Network is supposed to take place.

It was very well done. It's also depressing as blue hell, and you had better be in the mood for it.

    Fantastic movie.

I watched 'Whip It' and 'The Skeleton Key' while home sick yesterday. They were the opposite of fantastic.

"The Next Three Days" - you could drive a truck through the holes in the plot, but I was entertained.

I watched the Seventh Seal tonight. I'd seen it before, but it had been a while. Great movie.

The iconic scenes are iconic, but I think the most moving scene is when the girl is burned at the stake. Antonius and Jons' realization that death can be/is an empty transition into nothing is a moving scene.

I am not exaggerating when I type this, but if you want to watch a movie that will be in the coversation for worst film you ever watched, then watch Jonah Hex.

I thought it was good, very true to the book. I watched it to clarify a few things from the book, it didn't but I didn't spend the whole time comparing the movie to the book.

Robin Hood - Decent flick. Nothing too Earth shattering, but not a total waste of time like Hex, Jonah.
