Last movie you watched......

Johnny Be Good.

By no means great, or very good, but not as bad as many people made it out to be.

And the cast is stunning.

 

A previous GF dragged me to see 'Patch Adams.'
Obviously, the relationship didn't work out. She blamed our problems on the fact that I'm a drunk. I blamed the movie.

 

The $1 Redbox spew of crap continued with Predators.

I love how they leave the possibility of a sequel at the end. A direct to DVD sequel I am guessing.

And Adrien Brody must share a pharmacy with Barry Bonds.

 

I spent the first 30 minutes gawking at the 3D. Then that novelty wore off. The next step was realizing how extensively Cameron just flat-out borrowed and recycled everything from his previous movies. Then it was just a matter of time before all the guns and 'splosions started going off. And, boy, did they. An overall wearisome experience.

 

Get Him To The Greek- There were parts in this one that eclipsed Hangover as far as manic hysteria is concerned. Loved the Jeffery scene. Puff Daddy was pretty damn good too.

 

Hilarious movie.

Just saw 'Catfish.' Very interesting film. Well-made.

 

I think Mizzou said he loved Catfish.

 

Watched Predators last night.

Slept through Laurence Fishburne's entire role. Woke up to see the end. Don't feel like I missed much. Cut about an hour out of the film and enjoyed it.

 

Saw "Morning Glory." I loved it. Thought it was pretty good, and a hell of a lot better than I expected. Good stuff. B-.

Saw "Due Date." Bleh. Can't believe this is the same "team" from The Hangover, though I find the Hangover vastly overrated. Due Date was pretty boring. Not really funny. Seemed forced. C-.

 

There is a lot of speculation about the voracity of the movie; Is it real? Is it a hoax. My deep feeling is that it's real as any documentary is.

And if the people involved in the final 45 minutes of the film were paid actors, playing a role, then each of them deserve an Oscar nomination.
