As a main actor, he sucks in the film. He's not believable as a hero in any way, shape or form.

But the movie itself is very, very well written from a comedic standpoint.

Hence, he sucks but it's still hilarious.

Interesting. I like Rogen, but I cringed when I heard of him being cast as The Green Hornet. I think he wrote or helped write the film as well, so at least he brought something to the table.

Well isn't the Green Hornet supposed to be a fuck up and not your typical super hero?

The extent of my knowledge on the subject (Very little) is that Kato always saves the day and The Green Hornet gets all the credit.

I like Rogen by and large but in this flick I couldn't see The Green Hornet. All I saw was Rogen.

And he did co-write the flick so there is that.

As I said, it was hysterical. The script was very well written from a comedic standpoint. The jokes were on point, sprinkled in nicely but as a flick overall it's a tad weak.

I don't know how people who love the Hornet character as a whole will react but, for me, it was a good way to spend two hours but something I'm glad I didn't spend $10 to see.

Oh, and if you're interested in going, skip the 3D. There's nothing in there that could possibly be worth the upcharge (I saw it in 2D).

I don't understand why anyone would want to watch a movie in 3D.

Watching Inception. Not sure why. Thank God this was free with my membership at the video store. This movie blows.

Hoping to see Tron: Legacy tonight. I wish it was in 2D, but it is cheap movie night.

'Black Swan' was amazing. I absolutely love it when a filmmaker and his/her cast go 100 percent toward generating a specific mood or theme. As Buck said above, even when you dislike a movie that does this, you still respect it. And when one of these types of films hits you, like 'Swan' did me, it goes deep.

Natalie Portman does by far her best work. Aronofsky keeps gives her darker side a slow reveal, which makes the impact far greater; and she delivers. It's explicit both sexually and physically, but never gratuitous. Perfect blend of art-house sensibility and mainstream filmmaking. Good films like this not only let the viewer identify with its characters, but also lets those characters lead you into unexpected places.

Near the top of my list for 2010, for sure.
