Exit Through The Gift Shop - Would've been great if it were squarely focused on the street artists and not this French wackjob. It also might be a hoax so they say. Meh.

Glad to know I'm not the only person who thinks The Town is among the best movies of the year...

Saw "Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work" - Very interesting documentary.

HC & I just got back from "Made in Dagenham" which could loosely be described as a British "Norma Rae" without the Sally Field perkiness. Based on a the story of group of unionized women working for Ford in Britain in the late 60's who fought for equal pay for women.

Great performances by Sally Hawkins, Bob Hoskins and Miranda Richardson who played Barbara Castle, the British Minister in Harold Wilson's cabinet and ended up supporting the women's cause.

Tron - Legacy: Great for the kids; amazing graphics. Story, pretty lame but graphics made it worthwhile (3-D).

The Town: Well done, great shots of Boston and Fenway; could have done without the sentimental storyline. A nice dialogue/scene between Affleck and Hamm.

The Kids are All Right: Excellent movie; moving; rich emotions and conflicts. One of the best this year, let alone last 5 years.

I love that movie for the lines and the funny visuals. That list dampens it. Holy cow did they screw up a lot of stuff. In terms of being a clean film, it's worse than Friday Night Lights.

Why so? A lot of these are egregious errors in continuity or just plain old factual errors

    Here's one sample:

Anachronisms: On Christmas morning (of what is supposed to be 1939 or 1940), the family is listening to Bing Crosby's "Merry Christmas" album while they open presents. That album was not released until 1945 (and reissued in 1947).

The people who made the movie are the fools for not fixing this shit.
