I was referring more to national media. Really, I'm the one being nitpicky because it is definitely worth going to see.

I thought Wahlberg was good. It has to be a reserved, low-key portrayal. Everybody else is so big.

I agree that the guy playing his dad did a great job and hasn't gotten the props that all of the others have.

That was my take too, Buck. In many ways it's much easier to play the big, loud characters. Playing someone who is somewhat shy and withdrawn but still the sun around which the other characters orbit is difficult. I think Wahlberg nailed it.

The sisters were the worst part of the movie for me. The only thing good that came out of their presence was the scene at Amy Adams' character's house where she threatens to rip out her hair.

Beyond that, they could just go away.

Just saw Inception the other night.

What the hell was that all about?

Looks like Fincher made the right pick:

I thought it was OK but way, way over hyped. It was a f'ing courtroom procedural, without the courtroom final verdict.

Seriously. I need DiCaprio to make a quiet movie. His last few films have left me with headaches and seizures. He's a great actor - hope he's got something a little more subtle in the funnel.

"Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" - I think my crush on Michael Cera has come to an end.
