Watched "The Virginity Hit" today, a mockumentary about a kid trying to lose his virginity. Excellent concept, poorly executed.

While it did feel "real" in the sense that they did capture the awkwardness of teenage angst related to popping your cherry, the main problem I had with the flick (Besides the fact that the girls were WAY too good looking for the guys here, to the point that it was a glaring difference) was the fact that the main character Matt, the subject of the whole quest, came across as a gigantic 110-pound bottle of douche.

Worth a rental, maybe, if you've got a promo code from Redbox but a big swing and a miss.

Saw No Country for Old Men for the first time a few weeks ago. Some of those scenes still haunt me, but I just checked the book out from the library. Saw True Grit the day after watching NCFOM, and I absolutely loved it. So, I rented Fargo, which I've never seen, figuring I was on a Cohen brothers roll. Looking forward to watching it tonight or tomorrow.

    'Fargo' is great.
My personal favorite is 'Barton Fink,' but a lot of people don't dig that one.
You've probably seen 'Raising Arizona' and 'The Big Lebowski,' but those are both fantastic.
On a more serious note, 'Miller's Crossing' is excellent.

Just watched "Red". Good movie - drags a bit at start but really picks up. Great cast.

I refuse to see artsy type movies. They never satisfy.

Can't possibly be worse than "Knight and Day", or as I like to call it: "One of the worst movies I've seen on any Knight or Day".

Just watched it. What a POS. Cameron Diaz continues her streaks of movies in which I wish she'd get hit by a bus and even Tom Cruise, who I normally love, sucked ass in this role.

Terrible movie, terrible acting, terrible plot. I wish this one had a redeeming quality but, well, it just doesn't.

That's a self-fulfilling prophesy because if you like a movie you can just say it wasn't artsy.

Rockwell's okay . . . but you could sense what was coming, early-on.

It took me a bit to pick up on it.

The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest. To me, not as good as the first two movies, if for no other reason than they took some noticeable shortcuts.
