Body of Lies was on TNT this weekend. I like Leo, I like Crowe, and I liked the buildup and action of this movie. The plot was a little thick and wandering at times, but I was on track with it. Then the movie just ended. I didn't like that.

'King of Kong' was so great.

'King of Kong' might be my all-time favorite documentary.

Think how others feel. That's BYH plus 126 hours, 59 minutes and 52 seconds!

    "2012." Good heavens, that sucked.

I actually wasn't as moved by 127 Hours as I hoped to be. I interviewed Aron Ralston when he was on tour promoting his book probably 7 or 8 years ago or so and that was really something. Went to his public book reading and a lady fainted in the crowd.
Anyway, took my mom and wife to see The Lincoln Lawyer. Pretty entertaining. Good cast, kind of preposterous but not bad. Previews for the new Will Ferrell and Tom Hanks movies looked good too (not so much the new Conan movie).
Also saw I Love You Phillip Morris (good, Jim Carrey did a great job in a role that he was well cast for); Fair Game (fell asleep, but mostly because I was tired, not because of the movie); The Next Three Days (I liked it until Russell Crowe turned into Maximus at the end all of a sudden); Tron: Legacy (good special effects, the story was too confusing for me).

Wow I can't believe there is actually a documentary based on the great video game Donkey Kong. Used to love that silly game. Hope they have it at Netflix.

Last movie saw: "Charlie Chan Black Magic" it was okay, not as good as the better Charlie Chans.

I saw Fair Game a week or so ago. I had not read the book. Given my moderate right-leaning politics, it was tough to take (and very understandable that Sean Penn would gravitate to a role in it). In another 20 years, the Bush presidency might get a favorable glow from the intelligence that ultimately led to bin Laden's demise, but it'll be really hard to get away from things like the Plame outing.

    Those are fighting words!

Unstoppable was a fantastic, 2-hour ride.
