Last movie you watched......

Morning Glory. Enjoyed it because it was light and funny, and the subject matter covered media and the job search, both of which have taken a lot of my attention recently. But...

Harrison Ford was awful.

 

Fair point, I hadn't thought of it that way. And, yes, she is a hideous creature. Friends on?

 

I suppose.

And Mr. C, I found her most likeable in that movie. But it still grossed me out to see her and Will Ferrell making out.

 

I Love You Phillip Morris. Started out great but ran out of steam toward the end. That's the problem with movies like this, The Informant, and Black Swan (to a lesser extent); once you figure out halfway through the movie that they're just crazy there's nothing left to make me want to invest any further.

 

The Paper, for the umpteenth time. God I love that movie.

 

I thought she was as perfect for the role in Secretary as she was horribly miscast in The Dark Knight. Amazing how they could get so much right and botch that decision so badly.

 

Decided to give Arrested Development a full shot. I'm nearly done with Season 1 and I enjoy it more than I thought I would.

Favorite: Buster.

 

Just getting around to watching Rocky Balboa. Yikes.

Old woman just shouted down a bunch of rowdy teenagers. Excellent.

 

Huzzah! We got another one. Season two is the best of the three, but it's all fantastic. My favorite little exchange in the whole series is when Michael and Gob are talking about Gob's new boat and Lucille comes up from behind:

Michael: Get rid of the Seaward.
Lucille: I'll leave when I'm good and ready.

 

I said I enjoy it more than I thought I would. And since I hated it when I saw bits and pieces of the pilot, it's DEFINITELY damning with faint praise.
