You mean the one by Don McKellar? Love that movie.

It's especially fun since it's set here in Toronto and all of this is happening in familiar settings, especially the streetcar. :D

Watched Catfish last night. Thought it was great. Didn't mind the slow build-up.

Saw Hangover 2 last night ... was it a similar plot to the first movie? Well, yeah. They even use lines like, "We fucked up again" and "you know the drill." I will say that the second one is more raunchy than the first, with drugs being done and certain body parts taking center stage (in a bad way). It was still funny as hell and the characters are just as good.

Saw Bridesmaids. Definitely not a wall-to-wall raunchfest that the trailer would lead you to believe it was. But some great laughs, and though I usually detest the "let's make light of the fat person" concept, the overweight bridesmaid was a strong, grounded character and easily the highlight of the film. Kristin Wiig did a pretty good acting job, but not in a comic way. And that brings up a kinda genre that has developed: the part broad comedy/part somewhat drama. Knocked Up and Sideways pulled it off very well. Love and Other Drugs not so much; it would have been much better as a straight drama. Bridesmaids was somewhat in between on that continuum.

Hangover II was highly mediocre and very disappointing.

Just saw Hangover II. I liked it, but I have low standards at the movies. Wife is a huge fan of the first. She said the original is a 10, II was a 5. I laughed a lot. I'd say 8.
