It would be pretty hard to screw up one of these movies, but they did it. They finally shit their pants.

Jealous. Sounds like that would've been a cool gig, with Redford and Freeman around. Surprised the girl (now 21, according to imdb) hasn't been in a lot more — she was pretty good.

Just watched Blue Valentine. What a gut punch that movie is. I'm going to go depress myself to sleep.

That's not a unanimous opinion. Sure, he has great people skills which get him through the casual
day-to-day, but he's notoriously remote, and holds himself really, really high.

Maybe so, but not on that set.

J-Lo (this was in the middle of her Summer of Madness with Ben Affleck, who was in Vancouver filming while she was in Kamploops on this movie and then the 'Peg which was standing in for Chicago in that crappy dance movie with Richard Gere) was a prima donna who made the producers BUY a ranch house outside of town, so that she could put security it. Not rent it, buy it, mind you.

That high-falutin' Redford? Had a room in the Ramada Inn, with the rest of the crew, for about 3 weeks.

Finally saw Bridesmaids; funny enough, but something just didn't click. I think maybe it was that Wiig is great and all, but just didn't have enough depth to carry the movie. She sure likes her legs, though. Can't say that I blame her.

I'm addicted to Damages and Rose Byrne as the bitch Helen was great. And, of course, the fat chick could do no wrong -- a Farley with a vagina. A big, gaping...nevermind.

The cop was great, too. I'm sure he's moved into the Colin Firth spot in my wife's crush-o-meter.

If your wife replaces Colin Firth with ANYONE, she's mistaken.

Well, I shoulda pointed out that Firth is now in the Masters class, while the cop is in the young-and-active class (Cat 1 for the bicycle racers of the board).
