Watched "Taken" the other night on FX. I enjoyed it for what it is - lots of Neeson kicking ass.

I watched City Slickers last night for the first time since it came out in theaters. I was very surprised that Jake Gyllenhaal played his kid.

The movie holds up pretty well and that's from someone who usually hates Billy Crystal movies.

A little late in the game, but saw "Batman Begins," courtesy of Netflix, and I thought it was fantastic. Loved Bale's and Neeson's performances, and could even tolerate Katie Holmes. "The Dark Knight" is next in my queue and from everything I've read and heard, it should be even better.

When Gyllenhaal was on The Daily Show promoting Brokeback Mountain, Jon Stewart quipped that it was actually his second gay cowboy movie.

I finally saw "Black Swan." I couldn't watch it in the theater because the handheld camera stuff makes me nauseous. Hated it. Hated. Ugh. I would have turned it off 1/2 way in but I wanted to see if it picked up. Best Picture nominee? I don't think so.

It sucked! Are we the only 2 people to recognize how bad it was?

Watched the HBO documentary on Borg-McEnroe tonight. It was interesting, but Borg is as much of a closed book now as he was 30 years ago.
