Uh, no. I posted about this months ago when I saw the movie.

Just got back from "Super 8" and I thought it was a damn good movie. I trust JJ Abrams (big Alias fan) and after his work on Star Trek and even M:I: III, I knew going in it was going to be at the very least as decent flick.

Elle Fanning was amazing. Hell, all the kids were great. Do have to say, JJ sure loves his unusual creatures.

The creature was about my only complaint, but I don't want to give too much away yet.

How is it that all the women hate the ballet movie and the men enjoyed it? :D

    I thought it was tremendous.

Watched "True Grit" last night and enjoyed it (I've never seen the original). It didn't quite live up to my expectations, though. I thought it was a little odd that they spent the entire movie searching for her father's killer only to have the climactic scene focus a little more on Cogburn's vendetta.

Jeff Bridges was outstanding as usual.

My apologies, MITN. I forgot about that. Three strong!

When you see those, you should then check out a movie series that came a little before TDK -- called "Star Wars." It's pretty good, too.

I think the reason all the women hate this movie is it really shows the nastiness of women and seems to glorify it. Plus, the ending, which is so cliche I couldn't stand it.
