I'm going to take that in the Italian way and not in the "he's short" way. Thank you very much.

We just got back from 'Super 8.'
I didn't like it very much.
There's a better movie there, and it's about 30 minutes shorter.

    I agree with you.

And also I'm post padding cause I feel bad about messing with the Holy Bulls of the world.

Kung Fu Panda 2; very enjoyable, even with the 10 min. nap in the middle included.

"True Grit" on Netflix; that dialogue was brutal. I know that's probably being accurate time-wise, but it was almost like hearing Yoda talk the whole movie. That girl was really good but I only made it through 40 mins. and I called it a night.

I told you all I Netflixed "Batman Begins" last week and loved it. I saw "The Dark Knight" last night, and, yes, it was even better. Ledger's performance was as great as everybody said, and I loved the way they ended that part of the story. OK, TigerVols, I'll go check out that Star Wars thing you mentioned ;), and I'll be looking forward to "The Dark Knight Rises" next year.

Actually, now that Star Wars is mentioned, after I finished with the movie I kept thinking of "The Empire Strikes Back." A highly anticipated sequel, a movie with a somewhat downbeat ending, but after the trilogy is done, it'll probably be viewed as the best of the three.

    A.I. Artificial Intelligence.

Still trite, overdone garbage, after all these years.

Speaking of movies that were way too f-in' long ... or maybe that was another thread ...

I hope you are wrong and Dark Knight Rises is even better, but I suspect your comparison will hold up well. Only difference is I don't expect an ending that is nearly as tidy as The Return of the Jedi. (Except, you know, the complete lack of an explanation of what happened to the massive Imperial Fleet that was part of that final battle).

That was seriously one of the worst movies I've ever seen. And even worse, I wasted good time in NYC going to it.

Got around to watching "Lucky Number Slevin" last night with Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Ben Kingsley and Josh Hartnett. What an excellent, underrated noir flick. Really well made, fun dialogue and I liked the way the plot came together. A very solid movie.
