Also saw Kung Fu Panada 2 a couple of weeks ago. Yes, I am 28 and single, but I was a big fan of the first -- I sadly feel a connection with Po. Loved the movie, right up there with the original. Laughed all the way through, good for audiences of all ages.

Wish I could. I don't remember it being so pronounced with Patrick Stewart. I could have done without multiple in-jokes about the hair, too.

    SPOILER

I thought the Brit accent was something about him being an upper class citizen in that part of the country at that place in time. I read it... hmm... I forget. Maybe at EW.com. But it was just a theory, nothing official from the movie's creative staff.

I actually, sadly, saw that in the theater in 3D. Went to go see the Dark Knight in IMax and it was sold out. Had driven an hour to the IMax theater, so my dad and I didn't want to just turn around and go home. We knew it was probably shit, but we had seen a couple other movies running and had zero interest in a couple others. $13 I wish I had back.

Watched Top Gun last night. Had never seen it. Good flick. Looked up much of the cast online today - that's a group that did not age well, except for Cruise I guess. Also learned that I cannot be a fighter pilot because of the migraines I sometimes get, and hay fever.

Yeah, well done by Michelle Williams (looking good) and Ryan Gosling but oh so painful. Highlights how thankful I am that my wife and I have not outgrown our relationship.

    Hey kids -

Anyone see or hear anything about "Barney's Version"? I was thinking about picking it up tonight. I was not even aware of this movie until five minutes ago, but it looks intriguing...

Giamatti won the Golden Globe for that, no?

I finally watched "Rudy" last night for the first time. Wife is out of town for the week so that gave me the excuse to finally watch it. Really enjoyed it, even though I strongly dislike Notre Dame.

Looked it up, and you are correct, sir. Just read that Giamatti was handed the award by Halle Berry and mumbled into the microphone "Jesus Christ. Halle Berry. Halle Berry. Jesus Christ."
