Sean Combs is a talented guy. He was very good as Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn's New York connect in "Made," which was sort of a follow-up to "Swingers" (though Favreau and Vaughn were playing different characters, their interactions were the same).

When in Rome, which I was surprised how funny it actually was but a total chick flick.

Saw Dear John the same night, and it was okay, but very sappy. After watching it, I felt disappointed, like I was expecting something more.

Saw the new Harry Potter tonight and enjoyed it very much. I'm not a big Potter geek at all - I think I've seen the first two and parts of the others and all of DH Part I. But, I felt I had a decent enough grasp on the series to know what was going down in the last. I might just watch them all again for the hell of it.

We'll take in HP8 on Wednesday night. Not being big 3D people, we'll stick with the 2D version, I think.

We didn't see much in 2D that we thought would have been a lot better in 3D. Unless you like snakes jumping at you or fireballs with faces coming at you, 3D is unnecessary.

Vaughn actually played a different character?

No, they just had different names and back stories. But they were more or less the same guys they were in "Swingers."

'Made' is a very funny movie.
    Better than 'Swingers.'

  9. I liked HP pt. 2 as well, but I am a casual fan. I can see how diehards might hate it? Maybe not? It was one long fight scene. Lots of room for the "minor" characters to stand out. Really dark too, might think twice about bringing 10 and under to it.

Zookeeper with the family. Not the greatest, pretty formulaic, but Kevin James is a pretty good physical comedy guy and the "virtual" animals have some good lines. There's Rosario Dawson as well, so....

Going to go see Capt. America at midnight. Not really a big on the world of ole' Cap, so I'm sure I will enjoy the movie more than the comic book geeks.

It's made by Marvel Entertainment - it's going to be good.
