Won four free movie tickets at work this week. I'll get them Monday.

    Suggestions?

Definitely got me back to being a fan of Gyllenhaal, whom I couldn't picture as anything else but Price of Persia for the longest time.

    From the RedBox this weekend:

"Sucker Punch": Visually awesome, and the story was more intriguing than I expected. Everything seems forced, though, and it ends up being a movie for the filmmakers instead of the audience. The repeated mantras and fantasy sequences fall flat after the second time. Still, great action.

"Kill the Irishman": Rented it on a recommendation here, and it was worth it. Nothing to phone mom about, but a good mob flick.

"Inception." Interesting Brad Pitt impression by DiCaprio.

Kill The Irishman is a mediocre Scorcese-style knockoff, but it had its moments, and the story upon which it's based is worth knowing about.

Most of my friends did, too, and I went in with very low expectations. That probably played a part in it.

  10. The Company Men .. Good movie.. Nice story and great cast, Affleck included.
God Damn Boston accents kill me.
To nit pick .. I had a hard time swallowing all the shit Affleck's family had with making $120K a year, plus bonuses while living in the affluent Boston suburbs.

    The Adjustment Bureau. .
I'ma sucker for Matt Damon and liked it.

Did anybody notice the credits? On the roll for the Executive producers there are two lines, one of which reads
    Jonathan Gordon
    Isa Dick Hackett

So is Jonathan Gordon a dick? Or is there actually someone named Isa Dick Hackett?
