. . . the primary reason I would have loved to have had final cut . . .

I'm 41. I saw Pee Wee on HBO. I smoked a bag of weed, went to see 'Big Adventure' and laughed so hard I fell out of my seat.
But I've never watched any of the 'Play House' series.

More importantly, 'Battle: LA' was a dumb, boring movie.

With all due respect to my pal Blitz, she was no Sharon Tate:

Because that scene was contrived, schmaltzy and totally unrealistic.

Although it was a comedy there was an edge to the movie that the graduation scene pretty much obliterated. It was, to put it mildly, stupid.

Ya, I hate movies that are unrealistic.

When it's supposed to be a realistic movie, and the rest of the movie is well-done (I had more issues with it than others here, but still thought it was pretty good) and then you have one of the final scenes so forced and unnatural, that's not good.

"The Man with the Golden Gun." Gets panned, but one of my favorite Bond flicks. Also, a thumbs up on "The Thing."

My dad worked overseas when I was a kid, so we once went on vacation to Thailand. Took a boat tour where one of the stops was "James Bond Island," where TMWTGG was filmed.

"The Social Network." That's one fine film.

"Lincoln Lawyer" - just easy good fun. Fairly accurate on the legal side. McConoughey is pretty good as the slick lawyer.

"Unknown" - a Bourne ripoff but not bad.

"Rio" - good family movie; nice comedy, excellent "samba" music.

"Insidious" - had some good potential, then fell off the rails towards the end but decent ending.
