I didn't care for it as well. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

Me, too. Probably great if you're stoned, but I stopped smoking pot in 2002.

I thought it was tremendous. The plot - meh. The interaction between Franco and Rogen? Amazing.

Over-under on Best Actor Oscars for James Franco should be about 2 1/2. He's absolutely remarkable. This was his Jeff Spicoli moment.

HC & I watched "Unknown" the other night starring the great Liam Neeson.

The storyline is interesting (reminded me of "Frantic" with Harrison Ford), the cinematography is great, the actors are spot on, there are the requisite stupid car chases, but the end is so totally ridiculous, it's hard to respect the first 3/4 of the film

Attack the Block - UK movie about aliens attacking a housing project. Entertaining to a degree, but the only character I gave a damn about was the nurse played by the wonderful Jodie Whittaker.

  8. Why did you think it was ridiculous?
They gave you clues throughout the movie.

"Contagion." Really good. I've seen a few of these movies with this type of theme and this is the best I've seen. Great cast and a really good script, something we're seeing less and less of these days.

    "Paul"

Cute concept. Some fun moments. But a little too broad for me. Basically "Pineapple Express" with an alien. I thought they could have done so much more with it.

I was really surprised at how great the cast was. If I recall, the movie wasn't promoted very heavily, right?

Talking about awful movies, I cannot believe I sat through a viewing of Mr and Mrs Smith. That has to be one of the worst movies ever. They may be good looking but Anglelina Jolie and Brad Pitt couldn't act in the movie. This was a waste of time... :(
