It was a joke about JR's meltdown on the Moneyball thread. Nothing to do with you. Sorry.

We were wondering after we saw the movie where we could find that play. Is it online anywhere?

Interesting point. I think in real life, we've all seen dads who try to relive their sports glory years (or lack thereof) through their kid.

And the moms who have gone too far with trying to dress like their daughters, discuss the "Twilight" series with them, and in general try to be a friend as much as a parent.

Personally, I believe the Easy A moviemakers (along with the Diary of a Wimpy Kid films) are mocking this trend in parenting; if I recall, Olive states that her friend's pot smoking/nudist parents are out there "even by the standards of California."

Final point: the guidance councilors at my high school didn't look ANYTHING like Lisa Kudrow! And that's a damn shame. :D

I watched Lions for Lambs last night. It was a bit preachy and predictable but kept our attention for a couple hours.

I've watched this one more than once. Outstanding cast. IIRC, Matthau is listed in the closing credits by his real last name as some sort of joke.

Caught "Black Day at Black Rock" for the first time today. Essentially, just wanted to check out Spencer Tracy. It was OK IMHO, but understand it was a big hit in the mid-1950s.

Bad Day at Black Rock was my father's favorite movie.

Shortly after moving to Los Angeles I went to one of the Hollywood memorabilia stores on Hollywood Blvd. and tracked down a copy of the script, and sent it to him on Father's Day.

Nearly 20 years later, my father passed away and as I was helping my mom go through his stuff in his keeper drawer, I found the script, dog-eared, on top of his favorite memorabilia.

    Cried like a baby.

Obviously, I misspelled it. That's really neat what you did for your dad, TigerVols.

I watched Adjustment Bureau again the other night and liked it even more the second time.

As much as I like Matt Damon, Anthony Mackie stole the film. He was great.

That was the first thing I saw him in. John Slattery was good too. And Terence Stamp and Emily Blunt are two of my favorites.

    "Win Win."

I liked it. It's kind of like "The Blind Side" without the sucking part.

    'Rabbit Hole'
I thought it was quite good if heavy.

A British film called "The Trip" with Steve Coogan, a feature film version of a six-hour miniseries. Funny semi-improv mockumentary of Coogan and his pal Rob Brydon on a restaurant tour of the north of England for a Sunday magazine. Good stuff.
