Holmes had some talent in her late teens and early 20s before Xenu took her away. 'Go' was probably her peak.

Holmes in "Pieces of April." She was decent in that. Underrated movie, too. Now, she completely sucks.

I forgot about that flick. I did like her OK in that.

She's just never been a good actress. Ever.

Revisit that list in a few years and I'd wager that Louisiana will be on there. Lots of movies being made in and around New Orleans these days.
That is a weird list, though. They include movies from the 70s and 80s as examples, but only 366 movies are included for Los Angeles? Seems like they'd make that many there in a year or two. I'd imagine the number for a century of cinema has got to be in the thousands. I wonder how far back they're going?

Watched it tonight and loved it. Soundtrack was pretty good and loved the opening and closing.

I found it over-stylized and incoherent in many respects. Many of the characters lacked depth, which led to me question motivation.

That was my primary quibble with the movie, that there wasn't more driving. Only two chase scenes, one was exceptionally slow (which I thought worked quite well) and the other, while awesome, was too short.

I enjoyed damn near every shot that was in the film, but I felt like it was missing about 5-10 minutes of badass car chases.

Watched Horrible Bosses yesterday. It's a movie a lot of people can identify with -- they were trying to tap into the Office Space crowd -- and it had its moments, but they essentially gave away the best stuff in the trailer.

Watched The Other Woman a few days ago. Thoroughly depressing. How dare Phoebe talk to Queen Amidala that way.

Saw Cameron Crowe's Pearl Jam documentary last night. How Eddie Vedder didn't fall to his death 15 years ago is miracle. I've never been a big Pearl Jam fan (I wore the shit out of Ten in high school, that's about it) but I've always admired them as people.

Where did you see it? I've heard about it, but haven't seen it anywhere.

"Trust" with Clive Owen, Catherine Keener. 14 yr. old falls in love online. Just gut-, heart-wrenching; very thought provoking. Really nice comparison between male and female reactions to situation. Really glad I've got boys.
