    "Attack The Block"

Fun monster movie. Very well-written and the protagonist, John Boyega, has the potential to be a star. The kid is a young Denzel Washington.

Finally saw "Slumdog Millionaire" last week. I enjoyed it, admittedly partly because my fiancee is from the East, and I saw hints of her culture and family mindset (even though she's not from India).

Also, caught "The Sheepman" on TCM today. I haven't seen it in a long time, but I remember watching it with my grandfather. Held up very well.

Weeping Loins would be a fantastic band name.

That said, Having seen "Source Code," "Unknown," and "Horrible Bosses," Bosses was the best of the lot. I enjoyed all three, but "Horrible Bosses was hysterical.

Of course, comedies are never as funny if you aren't watching them with someone, so if you're alone I recommend one of the other two.

I saw it last night and felt the same way. Interesting beginning, thought it was going to take a dystopian-type stance and be Matt Damon fighting for other people -- but it was just him fighting for Emily Blunt. But my god, Emily Blunt is one sexxxxxy woman. Jim Halpert done good!

    1. I'm much more tolerant of horror movies than I am of any other genre.
    B. I like the simplicity yet inventiveness of some gags.
iii. I'm not a fan of the shakey cam. It was used to nauseating effect in the first installment. However, that was almost gone from the second installment, and, although it was used again in the third installment, it was scaled way back.

The premise and set up is so simple that I don't think they can really go any further with the franchise. But over all I dig the simplicity. Knowing strange things are going on while you're asleep - it's a good, simple plot device.
    And the gags work.

Thanks to both of you for pointing out my loserness and then agreeing with it.

I bought beers for the WS tonight, and now there's no WS. :(

    Source Code was great.

Horrible Bosses was so damn funny. Aniston cracked me up, she was so raunchy it was great.

Take solace, IJAG, I too bought beer and have no game to watch, so I'll be drinking alone and watching a movie about a bunch of women preparing for their best friend's wedding.

I'll drink alone, just not until tomorrow night. Purple Haze goes best with Teh Punto.

I've rededicated myself to my DVR. The certificate is good through December, so I'll use it eventually.
