    "Bad Teacher."

Difficult to pull off a completely unlikeable protagonist, but I think it mostly works. I give them credit for trying at least. Not bad, considering I had fairly low expectations.

Also, if you're into sweater porn, JT rocks it in every single scene.

Caught the last half of "To Live and Die in LA" last night. Funny to see the '80s fashion in full swing, big hair, with the '80s music and the car chases with the full size Dodges and Chrysler Cordobas. This was when William Dafoe was in full star mode. Good car chases through LA/Long Beach.

In Time, and only went because I love the idea. Had its moments, but it's frequently clunky, and Timberlake is capable of ruining just about anything.

    Tower Heist.

It's okay. The trailer making deserves his own Oscar, because the trailer's a lot funnier than the movie.

But, it's okay. Lots of sly Ferris Beuller references, too.

Getting ready to watch Hesher. Hopefully Joseph Gordon-Levitt cancels out Natalie Portman.

When I was watching "The Other Woman" a few weeks ago, I kept asking myself, "THIS person won a Best Actress Oscar?" It is almost unthinkable.

Watched Unknown. Good, enjoyable movie. I like Liam Neeson movies so it fit well. January Jones is sexy.

    "The Lincoln Lawyer."

Good build-up. Not a bad performance by Matthew M. But one of those movies that has so many plot twists and turns that it dilutes the impact of any one of them after a while.

I also liked Unknown a lot too. Great performance by Bruno Ganz and yeah January Jones is stunning. I liked the Lincoln Lawyer. Great cast.

Don't look now, but the Hollywood movie industry is collapsing.

Box Office has been off v. last year every weekend since August.

This weekend it's off 25 percent v. last year.

No wonder this thread's hardly budged lately -- there are just not many movies worth seeing!

I have to say, I've seen quite a few movies in the theater since May and haven't really been blown away by any of them. I've enjoyed some of them and thought others were just OK. haven't seen any I thought were awful. But I haven't seen any that I really loved and absolutely had to buy when they reached DVD. Super 8 and Horrible Bosses are probably the best I've seen.
